ACLS Provider - formerly called initial. This class is for people that have never had ACLS. Approximately 10 hours. Course includes a delicious lunch.

COURSE COVERS

Basic life support skills
Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
Airway management
Related pharmacology
Management of ACS and Stroke
Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE

Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.
Personnel in emergency response
Emergency medicine
Intensive care
Critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

You will receive an American Heart Association ACLS certification card with the successful completion of this course.

You are required to have the current student manual for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here. Please choose from the following optional items:

Reschedule Insurance-Allows you up to two (2) reschedules per registration as long as we are notified before class. A $25 reschedule fee applies when students have to reschedule without insurance, reschedules more than twice or if rescheduling is requested after the course.
